Vendor Terms
These are the terms for listing a business on LinksTC. They are written to be read, so they are in plain language and they are short. Version 4 September 2026.
1. What LinksTC is
LinksTC is a directory of local services in the Turks and Caicos Islands. People search it to find a business and then contact that business directly, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
2. Your account
One account belongs to one person, and that person is responsible for what is done with it. Keep the password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think somebody else has it.
You must be at least 18 and entitled to act for the business you are listing. We do not check either of those things, which is exactly why we are asking you.
3. Your listing is yours
The business name, descriptions, services, prices, logo and photographs on your listing belong to you. Putting them on LinksTC gives us permission to show them on the site and in search results while your listing is live, and to make the ordinary technical copies needed to do that — nothing else. We do not sell your content and we do not license it on.
You are telling us, by uploading them, that:
- the information on your listing is accurate;
- you took the photographs or have the right to use them, and anyone identifiable in them is content to appear;
- the business is one you are entitled to run, including any licence the Islands require for it.
4. Review, and the decisions we can make
You build your listing as a draft and send it for review when it is ready. Someone reads it before it appears publicly. After that a listing can be approved, sent back to you for changes, declined, suspended or archived.
Once it is live, some of your edits are reviewed and some are not.A change to your business name, your descriptions, your logo, your categories, the list of services you offer, or your photographs puts the listing back in the queue: the version the public sees stays as it was until somebody has read the new one. A change to your contact details, your prices, your years in business, your cover image, the wording of a service, a photograph’s caption or the areas you serve goes live straight away, so you can correct a phone number without waiting for us.
Where a decision goes against you — declined, sent back, or suspended — we have to give a reason, and we email it to you in the words it was written in. Every one of these decisions is recorded with who made it and when.
We can decline or remove a listing that breaks section 5, that we cannot make sense of, or that we have been told about and think is a real problem. We are not obliged to publish a listing.
5. What you must not list
- a service that is illegal in the Turks and Caicos Islands;
- a business that is not yours, or a business you have described as something it is not;
- somebody else’s photographs, logo or written descriptions;
- contact details that reach someone other than the business — a competitor’s number, for instance;
- more than one listing for the same business, whether under one account or several.
6. What we do not do, stated plainly
Reviewing a listing means reading it to see that it is a real, comprehensible listing for a service. It is not an investigation of the business behind it, and it is not a promise to a customer about the work.
Because we are not a party to anything you agree with a customer, we are not responsible for the work, the price, the timekeeping or the outcome. A dispute over a job is between you and your customer.
7. Leaving
You can ask us to take your listing down or close your account at any time, and we will. Closing your account removes your listing from the public site and deletes the images you uploaded. The record that decisions were made about the listing is kept, because a record of a decision is not something that can honestly be deleted on request.
We can close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms. Where it is not urgent, we will tell you what the problem is first and give you a chance to fix it.
8. Availability
LinksTC is a small platform and is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be reachable, and we do not promise that being listed will bring you work.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we publish the new version with a new date and email everyone with an account. The version you agreed to is recorded against your account on the day you created it, and a later version does not change that record.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and its courts are where any dispute about them is dealt with.
11. Getting in touch
Write to hello@linkstc.com with anything about these terms, your listing or your account.
Previous versions. The version dated 28 August 2026 — the text as it stood before this one, kept because section 9 promises a new version is published with a new date, and that promise is worth nothing if the old words disappear.
